Please read the terms and conditions carefully as they incorporate the basis upon which all reservations are accepted by the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn. All bookings either made directly or via a participating website or third-party agency are subject to these terms and conditions and the person making the booking will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all persons who will be staying at the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn under the booking.

  • Reservation, Amendment and Cancellation Policy

Persons must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation. Persons under 18 staying at the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

All reservations are subject to availability until confirmation is provided via email to substantiate the reservation. The Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn may, from time to time, communicate with guests, to re-confirm the reservation and to prevent any simulated bookings.

The Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn is not responsible for communication failures, errors, difficulties, or other malfunctions or lost, stolen, or misdirected transactions, transmissions, messages, or entries on or in connection with online platforms.

The Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn is not responsible for any incorrect information associated with any transaction or transmission on or to associated websites regardless of whether such incident is the result of error, system error, or human error.

Any amendments to bookings are subject to the availability and applicable pricing at the time the amendment is requested.

The Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn reserves the right to impose a cancellation fee.

For flexible rate bookings (this excludes – discounted non-refundable, advance and minimum night stay bookings, bookings for dates during peak periods, or otherwise stated at time of booking):

Bookings must be cancelled 24 hours prior to 2PM of arrival date to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations after this time are subject to a cancellation fee which will be charged to the credit card used as guarantee for the booking. The cancellation fee is equal to the accommodation fee payable for the 1st night of stay.

For discounted non-refundable, advance and minimum night stay bookings:

Bookings cancelled are subject to a cancellation fee which will be charged to the credit card used as guarantee for the booking. The cancellation fee is equal to the full booking amount. If payment has been made, no refund will be provided.

For Peak Period bookings (inclusive of Meat Stock, Farm Fest and Carnival of Flowers dates. These dates are subject to change each year):

Bookings must be cancelled 7 days prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations after this time or no-show* are subject to a cancellation fee which will be charged to the credit card used to guarantee payment of the account. Cancellations after this time or no-show are subject to a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee is equal to the full booking amount.

If the guest does not check in on the night of the booking reservation (also known as a ‘No-Show’) a cancellation fee equal to the total booking amount will be charged to the credit card used as guarantee for the booking.

Unless otherwise agreed by Management, modifications to bookings cannot be made following check-in. i.e. once a guest has checked-in, the booking is non-refundable.

In the event the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn, need to reject or change a confirmed reservation it will use all reasonable attempts to facilitate the circumstances however if no alternative is provided to the guest, The Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn will return any deposit made and consider it cancelled. This is the limit of the motel’s liability.

  • Rates & Charges

All quoted rates are subject to change at any time until full payment is received. Quoted rates are inclusive of all compulsory government or regulatory charges and taxes (for example GST) where applicable. Some rates which are quoted are valid only for a minimum number of nights and if the number of nights included in the booking changes the rate may also change.

  • Security Deposits / Bond

Guests must provide a credit card authorisation check-in. The authorisation may be used to cover incidental items including but not limited to security bond or deposit for any breakages or damage incurred during a guests’ stay or cleaning charges in excess of the normal level of cleaning.

This authorisation may also be used to settle any outstanding payments owed by guests in relation to their reservation including payments for the balance of the reservation should the guest vacate the premises prior to the scheduled check-out date.

The pre-authorisation process validates the guests’ credit card and protects both the cardholder and merchant from increasing fraud incidents.

The pre-authorised amount is set aside by the card issuer for a period of up to 14 days from the date of pre-authorisation and the pre-authorisation will affect the guests’ available funds balance or spending limit. For more information on this practice guests should contact their card issuer.

Once a pre-authorisation has been made, Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn cannot release, remove or lower the authorised amount, until the final account is processed on departure. This is a restriction imposed by the card issuer and cannot be negotiated.

Where a credit card is not available a minimum $200.00 cash deposit may be required on check-in. This is at the discretion of the property. 

  • Minimum Length of Stay

A minimum length of stay may apply during high demand or special event periods, and promotional offers, as determined by the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn. If guests reserve a room over such dates, guests agree to stay for the required minimum nights.

  • Group Reservations

Reservations of 10 or more rooms by the one person or organisation will be considered a Group Reservation. For Group Reservations of 10 rooms and above, special Group Booking Terms and Conditions will apply. Please contact the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn direct either via phone on +61 07 4659 0000 or email at frontdesk@tuscanyontor.com.au.  Any group bookings booked online or via a third party without prior approval may be cancelled and rebooked directly via the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn in conjunction with the Group Booking Terms and Conditions.

  • Right To Refuse Entry

The Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn reserves the right to refuse entry to the motel or accommodation of return guests who have caused damage or disruption to the hotel and its guests on a previous stay; who have been evicted from other accommodation providers for same reasons or criminal behaviour; have breached any other terms and conditions here outlined; or, in the opinion of management, will adversely affect or brings discredit upon the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn brand, management, owner or other guests.

Guests who permanently reside within Toowoomba may also be refused entry to the motel or accommodation and their booking cancelled without notice. In this instance any deposit will be refunded via the same original method of payment i.e. if a guest books via third party website and a pre-payment is made, the refund will be processed through that same third-party payment method.

  • Check In

The standard check in time is 02:00pm. Check-in prior to this time may incur additional room charges.

A valid and current form of government issued photographic identification and credit card are required to be presented to the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn staff on check in. These documents may be copied and / or securely stored as a record the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn have verified the guest and their authority to use the credit card supplied as a combat to increasing credit card fraud. If guests are unable to provide such identification, the reservation may be cancelled, and the booker may be liable to pay the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn an amount equal to the full reservation plus any other additional costs incurred by the property in connection with the reservation.

Guests are required to pay the balance of accommodation charges in full at the time of check-in and guests agree to pay for all charges incurred against the room account during the rental period.

If the room account is to be billed to a third party, the guest agrees to be personally liable for the payment and all charges in the event the indicated third party, person, company, or association fails to pay for such charges.

Amex Credit Card payments will incur a surcharge of 3.0%.

Guests must advise us of any change in the number of persons using the room and agree to pay any additional charges for additional persons not included in the number stated at the time of booking and / or check-in.

  • Check Out

The standard check out time is 10:00am. Departure after that time may incur an additional room charges.

All extra and/or incidental charges including (but not limited to) mini-bar consumption, room service, laundry services, damages and additional cleaning charges will be charged at the time of check-out to the Credit Card provided as guarantee on check-in.

Guests are and remain personally liable to pay the total amount due on departure unless prior settlement arrangements have been accepted by the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn. If the settlement arrangements have not been met within 30 days of departure guests agree to pay the total amount due on the receipt of our invoice.

Guests must return all key cards for the room at the time of departure and agree to pay a charge for replacement of keys if lost or not returned in working order.

  • Minors

Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

  • Right of Entry and Inspection

Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn management reserves the right to inspect guest rooms at any time without notice should the managements opinion be that there has been or is likely to be a breach of any terms and conditions or there is a legitimate concern for a guest’s safety.

  • Facilities and Services

Whilst care is taken to ensure that the description of our facilities and services is accurate, these are continually being changed and upgraded, and whilst on occasion may be out of service. If any feature or facility is essential to guests choosing our property, it is the guest’s responsibility to confirm with the property prior to making the reservation that the feature or facility will be available during the guests stay or use of the services.

To the extent permitted by law, the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn is not liable for omissions, errors or changes to the facilities and services at our property, whether temporary or permanent.

Accommodation facilities listed may not apply to all room types.

Reservations are not transferable. 

  • Housekeeping / Servicing of Rooms

Housekeeping is limited to removal of rubbish, replenishment of complimentary amenities, replacement of crockery and cutlery (excluding 1 Bedroom and 2 Bedroom Apartments where facilities allow for washing up), replacement of used towels that are placed on the floor and making beds.

Housekeeping may be performed daily upon request (except Sunday’s and Public Holidays) but may only be requested if a guest stays in the same room for multiple nights. 

Guests may use the ‘Do Not Disturb’ signs to indicate no housekeeping or servicing is required. The Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn still reserves the right, however, to enter a room at any time without notice should the managements opinion be that there has been or is likely to be a breach of any terms and conditions or there is a legitimate concern for a guest’s safety.

For longer stays (more than 7 nights), weekly cleaning of the room will be carried out.  

  • Non-Serviced Packages

A non-serviced package means that rooms will not be serviced by housekeeping or beds made during a guests stay. All amenities will be provided at the start of the stay but will not be replenished until check out.

  • Guest property / personal items left after check-out

Following check-out perishable items left in a room will not be kept and may be thrown away immediately.

Non-perishable items such as clothing, electronics, jewellery, and other personal items may be kept on site for up to one-month. Guests will be responsible for collecting items or organising items to be mailed by post (this includes providing a paid self-addressed envelope to the property).

Whilst the property will make an effort to contact guests regarding personal items left behind, The Best Western Tuscany on Tor takes no responsibility for items that have been left behind and / or items that are found in a room following check-out.

After one month, if guests have not collected items or made contact regarding the return of items, Management may at their discretion, dispose of any such items left behind by guests.

  • House Rules

  1. Guests and invitees of guests are expected to behave in a manner that is conductive to the safety, comfort and convenience of other guests within our property.
  2. No gatherings and/or parties of any nature are allowed anywhere on the premises (inside or outside the room)
  3. Neatness and hygiene should be adequately maintained by the Guest.
  4. The Guest should always adhere to the safety, security and hygiene advise duly provided by the Property.
    • The Guest will be solely responsible for any such violation if identified. All the assets and valuables of the property should be duly maintained adequately and should not be damaged or destroyed.
  5. A breach of any House Rule may result in eviction of the offender and or/group booking at the discretion of management. No refunds on accommodation will be offered under these circumstances.
  6. A breach of House Rules include:
  • Noisy, offensive or unruly behaviour;
  • Group gatherings and parties (as detailed under the Zero Tolerance Party Policy);
  • Damage to or destruction of property;
  • Unsafe, unhygienic behaviour;
  • Improper or unseemly conduct;
  • Any act or omission which, in the opinion of management, adversely affects or brings discredit upon the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn brand, management, owner or other guests.

In the event of an eviction, no refund will be provided and all monies held will be forfeited by the guest.

  • No Smoking Policy

All rooms at the Best Western Tuscany on Tor are strictly non-smoking rooms. Guests are only permitted to smoke in the designated areas. In the event guests are believed to have been smoking in guest rooms a minimum cleaning and deodorizing fee of $250.00 will apply.

Candles and any open flames are also not permitted in any rooms. 

  • No Pet Policy

The Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn does not permit guests to have pets on-site. If a pet, or evidence that a pet has resided in the guest’s room is found it will be deemed a breach of the guests’ accommodation conditions. Guests will be requested to remove the animal and charged a $250.00 cleaning and deodorising fee. Please advise the hotel ahead of time if travelling with a Service Animal. Registration of Service Animals must be provided.

  • Zero Tolerance Party Policy

In the interest of quiet enjoyment and respect for all guests at the motel, a no party policy applies to all guests staying at the property. Guests are expected to be respectful of other guests at all times, and to be quiet between 10pm – 7am. No group congregations in individual guest rooms is permitted or tolerated. Immediate eviction with no refund applies to any breaches of this policy.

  • Eviction

The Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn may evict a guest or visitors without warning. Guests who are evicted from the motel will be blacklisted and the police may be notified. A guest is subject to such eviction should the following (but not limited to) occur;

    • Intoxication and unsavoury behaviour

    • Overcrowding – when the number of persons in the room exceeds the agreed number

    • Physical or verbal assault towards hotel representatives or other guests

    • Wilful damage to the property

    • Any incident for which the police need to be called onto the premises

    • Any behaviour posing a safety threat to others

    • Ignoring advice to reduce excessive noise (music or other noise)

    • Smoking within the room (a cleaning and deodorising fee will also apply)

    • Any act or omission which, in the opinion of management, adversely affects or brings discredit upon the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn brand, management, owner or other guests.

If the occupancy ends or is terminated, the guest must immediately vacate the premises. In the event of an eviction, all monies held will be forfeited and no refund provided. Guests who are evicted from the hotel will be blacklisted and other Accommodation providers in the region notified.

  • Third Party Products and Services

The Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn sometimes includes third party products or services in special packages. The Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn is not liable under any circumstances for any failure by third party providers to provide products or services, nor for any error, alteration or change of any kind made by those third-party providers following acceptance of a booking by them.

All third-party coupons, vouchers, receipts and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by those parties.

The Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn does not warrant the accuracy of any information; statements or representations made by third parties and is not liable for any act or omission, default or negligence of any third-party provider.

  • Releases and Indemnity

Any monies or other valuables, goods or vehicles that belong to guests, brought in or on to the room, grounds or car park remain the guest’s responsibility and Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn are not responsible for their safekeeping.

To the extent permitted by law, all guests agree to release and hold harmless the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn and its current and former owner(s), employees and agents against and from all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgements and losses of any kind whatsoever (including consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damage for injury, including personal injury and death) arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from the reservation or the guests stay at the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn for any reason whatsoever.

Guests agree to indemnify the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn and its current and former owner(s), employees and agents for all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgements and losses of any kind whatsoever (including consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damage for injury, including personal injury and death) incurred or suffered by the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn or its current or former employees or agents arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from the guests reservation or their stay at the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn except to the except caused by or contributed to by the Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn and its current or former employees or agents negligence.

The guest agrees regardless of their length of stay there is no tenancy or other proprietary rights created under any laws.

The Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn grant the guest authorisation to stay in and/or use the facilities in the motel and reserve the right to terminate the authorisation at any time.

  • Use of Information

Guests agree Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn may use their email address to send information, including (but not limited to) a Tax Invoice, updates and special offers. If guests would like to opt-out of this, management is to be notified, and guests will be removed from the mailing list.

  • Privacy

The Best Western Tuscany on Tor Motor Inn adhere to the Australian Privacy Principles relating to the collection, use and disclosure of personal information
